Reasons you left your guild: I have not been in a guild before, indeed this is the first one I have applied for.

Tell us a few things about yourself:

Well where to start? Despite playing a female dwarf I am a male in RL (of average height!) and very new to the game having only started to play over the past week or so. I did have a trial account around a year ago but got frustrated as I was unable to find groups for dungeons. Luckily the dungeon finder tool has been added to the game which will allow me to have a go at most of the instances as I level and practice playing my class in a group environent. I typically enjoy playing healing classes and so want to group as much as possible as I play the game even if I have the occasional bad experience along the way.

So how did I end up here? Well I spent some time looking at the official AD forum and I saw that Moonlight were currently recruiting. After reading a little about the guild along with the rules I decided that moonlight sounds like exactly the sort of guild I would be interested in. I believe myself to be a mature, friendly and helpful player (and person!) and therefore hope that I will fit in well. Although I am of course very new to the game I do hope to eventually take on some of the more challenging content that the game has to offer so it is good to know that this is possible within Moonlight. Finally Moonlight's website and forum look fantastic which really caught my attention as I was looking round.

So what can I bring to Moonlight? Well initially I will probably be asking a lot of questions as there is of course much to learn. Hopefully you enjoy having new players within the guild as i am sure I will be very enthusiastic. Although I doubt I can be of much aid to anyone I will do my best to help out whenever possible and will of course be friendly and polite within the guild (and elsewhere too!). I do very much enjoy RP events although I must admit I don't think of myself as being a very good RPer, I am happy to try my best however and will join in where appropriate.

Of course life is not all games so I shall tell you a little about my RL. I am currently empolyed by a University and am involved in research, I will not bore you with the details however feel free to ask me if you wish Unfortunately I am currently living apart from my partner but we do get to spend most weekends together. Outside of work I like to do the usual things (music, cinema, cooking, pubs/bars) but probably spend a little too much time watching sports on TV. I dont play anywhere near as many sports as I used to when I was a few years younger but I do still enjoy the occasional game of snooker or pool.

very new to moonlight myself with my paladin, although played wow for a long while.. and it's always nice with new people asking questions, you make the rest of us feel useful!

In response to Panoso, my background is in Chemical Engineering however the past few projects I have worked on have been more Chemistry based. I'm currently working on a project partially sponsored by a well known detergent manufacturer investigating new technologies for application in cleaning formulations and personnal care products... It may not sound exciting but you did ask
